I've heard from them that they're spreading "suicide awareness". I haven't watched the show and I think that's a lie. Everything that I've read about it says that it's about a girl that committed suicide
I watched it as I was curious And it just made me mad
They made the girl who sadly passed on such a drama queen in my eyes She over-reacted in one scene where they hit a stop sign, and she's freaking out about needing to call the police She does bring some of it onto herself in my eyes A few of the things are goddam terrible
But I feel it didn't do suicides or suicidal people justice, just made it look pathetic If people disagree with me, that's fine But to me, it wasn't worth getting hyped over ;;'
I got similarly bullied in my school time I ignored the remarks of me and my bff doing stuff, and when people asked I didn't shout or become snarky like she did to Zach It even turned out she misunderstood that whole sequence too But for the poem thing, I wouldn't have minded I'd be a bit embarrassed but that's all. I'm aware it was about her personal dark feelings but I'm very poetic and stuff myself and I put them on here all the time, happy or sad. She should have told someone it was hers and asked for them to remove it or something. After all, one of the teachers did say it was good.
Being called the slut wouldn't bother me, I've been called worse and I always knew after school was over I'd never see any of those people again. My male friends put the girls on a list and ranked us all, it didn't bother me it's just something guys do, I laughed it off with them, but again it's personal opinion as some of the girls in my school didn't find it fitting, one even made a list for the lads.
The other stuff again would probably leave me upset but not to the point of suicide
I feel only Bryce's was the most serious and he needed to get sent to jail But the only witness was Hannah and so Bryce was left to think that every girl is begging for him. Only when Clay tried to get justice for Jess did Justin speak up. To me that's the most scarring and she needed to get the law involved not bleed out in a bath. Plus the teacher made my blood boil, they all ignored Hannah, and Mr.Porter should have done something right there n then when she said she was suicidal.
Im aware people take things differently, I'm personally a fighter and a very laid back person so these things to me, don't bother me. I've been through some of what Hannah did and it only left me to be kinder to others. And yes. I have in fact been suicidal, I suffered and my parents saw and took action. Sadly Hannah wasn't as lucky I do feel sorry for how she felt and her need to pass, but in my eyes only a few reasons stand as reasons.
Clay, Jess and her boyfriend // sorry forgot his name as she got hurt in a serious way without knowing and it did mess her up in the end her boyfriend because his family life is awful and again made me feel sorry for him
Mostly Clay though because of the last few episodes where he says he could've saved her and he loved her. That pulled at my heartstrings
Not really Like if Courtney was confused about her sexuality I understand she hid it But she didn't have to throw Hannah under the bus to hide it, as after it came out I don't think many people really mentioned it To me, she was just a character who was self centred
Same with the poem guy //forgot his bame He shouldn't have put her poem in the magazine Regardless if it got good reviews or made his mag better That was a dick move and his reasoning is stupid
